Stayed a year too long first two seasons were good enough but the writing was on the wall the entire time that he wasn't a good fit long term.

On the run up to the Chelsea game the fans were loving it, we were playing well, maybe not as good as Man City & Liverpool at home but without Carroll not every game was great as well, we were getting results and everything was good.
In fact the Swansea performance was excellent, right up there as performances go.
People can wish to rewrite history all they want but the truth is Carroll took his chance and played very well and scored goals

We all know that Arsenal away isn't going to happen every time but Bilic proved after just ONE game what we knew all along...
You can have a coherent gameplan and set up a team with the self-belief that they can actually win a match...
Arsenal,Chelsea,Citeh and Man U may have bigger resources but that doesn't mean that it's not possible to give it a real go and put a dent in their best laid plans....most fans at most clubs know full well the title is beyond reach but at least make the effort to give us some JOY along the way.
